The Lake County Stallions Flag Football is an in house league for boys and girls 5 to 14 years old.  The #1 focus of the league is to fun while teaching kids the basic fundamentals flag football. 

FAQ's

Q:  How much is flag football registration? 
A:  Regular seasons registration for the fall and summer is $150 & spring seasons (ALL Girls and Co-ed) are $125 (registration fee includes jersey)

Q:  How do you pick the players?
A:  Players will be selected by evaluation score and possibly in a blind draft.

Q:  Is there a family discount if I register multiple children?
A:  Not for spring but there will be for summer and fall
    
Q:  Is it OK if my child has never player football before?
A:  The Lake County Stallions flag football is great place for kids to have fun while learning basic football skills

Q:  What gear will my child need to participate?
A:  Cleats are recommended. Mouth guards are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. Playing without them is AT YOUR OWN RISK

Q:  When are the practices?
A:  Practices will be at coaches discretion and will vary. 

Q:  Where are the games played?
A:  Games are Saturdays OR  Sundays at towns listed on this page. Exact address, times and locations will be added to sports engine app for each team as season starts

Q:  What is the age range for flag football?
A:  5 to 14 years old (co-ed/K-8th) and 6-14 (1st-8th) ALL girls

Q:  How are teams formed by age group?
A:  Hopefully will have 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U AND 14U for co-ed. For ALL Girls hoping to have graded teams 1st-8th.
This all depends on how many kids at each age group sign up. We usually have smaller groups at the older grade levels. Be sure to tell your friends and neighbors to join and play so we have enough teams! 

Q:  When are games and about how long will they be?
A:   Saturday or Sunday depending on the host field availability. Each game is two 25 minute halves with a 5 minute half time and a running clock.

Cost: $150 

We are offering a multi-child discount for the Summer Season as follows:
Two children: $25 off total cost of registration
Three children: $65 off total cost of registration

Registration includes: Jersey, games, and end of season medals/trophies for winners.

Age Groups: Boys AND Girls ages 5- 14

Dates and Locations: 
Wednesday evenings and Sundays starting in early June (either 6/5 OR 6/9) then the following dates:

Wednesday June 12th
Saturday June 15th * (Due to Father's day on 6/16)
Wednesday June 19th
Sunday June 23rd
Wednesday June 26th
Sunday June 30th
Wednesday July 10th

Playoffs/Bowl Games/Championship 7/13 and/or 7/14

Games are about 1 hour long. 

Home field: Behm Park (22222 Behm Park Ln., Grayslake)

Practices will be at coaches discretion but typically if there is practice it will take place about 20-30 minutes before the scheduled game. 

Gear:
Cleats and mouth guards are strongly recommended. 

Volunteer Requirements:
1 hour per family

Parents are required to volunteer for one hour, per season, per family. You can find sign ups here when they are available.

We ALWAYS need coaches, assistant coaches and team parents though. Please let us know if you are willing to volunteer for any of those. No experience necessary.
