SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING!

The Lake County Stallions (LCS) is committed to providing players a fun, positive, and secure environment in which to learn and enjoy the game. We do not tolerate bullying at any practice, game or other LCS sanctioned event. We will promote a TELLING atmosphere. This means that anyone who knows that bullying is taking place is expected to report the incident. Players and parents should be assured that they will be supported when bullying is reported.

COVID-19 Update

The Lake County Stallions Board is monitoring the on-going developments related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The safety and wellness of all Stallions players, coaches, and volunteers, is our top priority.

All Stallions teams, except Flag Football, are part of a larger governing program. Tackle Football is part of The Chicagoland Youth Football League (TCYFL); Cheerleading is part of the Illinois Recreational Cheer Association (IRCA); Boy’s and Girl’s Lacrosse is part of the Illinois Boys Lacrosse Association (IBLA) and Illinois Lacrosse League (ILL) respectively.

We are in communication with these leagues and will adhere to any new guidelines set in place for their sports programs as it relates to the safety and health of our players. Please check the LCS Cheer, Tackle Football, Lacrosse, and Flag Football webpages for league updates and additional information.

 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

Q. Who decides what restrictions/guidelines (i.e. masks, gloves, limited contact)?
A.  Each Stallion sport, apart from Flag Football, is part of a larger league.  The respective league for each sport gives our Organization its guidelines and modifications of practices and competitions.  Flag Football is an In-House program in the Summer and part of a loose association of local Flag Football programs in the Spring.  Our organizations must follow State-mandated guidelines.

Q.  If Cheer, Tackle Football, or Flag Football season is canceled will we receive a refund?
A. We will issue full refunds if a program is canceled.

Q.  If seasons do proceed in some form, what can I do to help?A.  We have all been part of youth organizations long enough to understand that without volunteer support, the Stallions could not operate.  If seasons proceed under whatever increased restrictions and guidelines, so will the need for volunteers increase.  We would need volunteers more than ever to ensure that all guidelines and mandates were being maintained.

We appreciate your understanding as schedules and seasons slide to adjust. We will continue to share information throughout the days and weeks ahead.

Sincerely,

Lake County Stallions Board
