Fall Flag Football 2019


The Lake County Stallions Flag Football is an fun and developmental local travel program for boys and girls 5 to 8 years old.  The #1 focus of the league is to have fun while teaching kids the basic fundamentals flag football. 


Q:  When does practice start?
A:   Below is the practice schedule for the first week:
      • Tue, 8/6 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
      • Thurs, 8/8 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
      (Practices times for the rest of the season will be determined by the head coaches)  Practices will be held at Behm Park

Q:  When is the first game?
A:  The first game is tentatively scheduled for Saturday August 10th.  Times TBD.

Q:  When does the season end?
A:  Last game will be played Saturday October 5th or 12th.

Q:  What is the age range for flag football?
A:  This year we will have both a 6U team and an 8U team.  Child must be 8 years or younger as of August 1st, 2019 to be eligible for fall flag football.

Q:  Where are the games played?
A:  This is a local travel league.  Games will be played at Mundelein, Antioch, Grant, Johnsburg, Lake Villa, Round Lake and Wauconda.

Q:  Is there a family discount if I register multiple children?
A:  No family discount for our fall flag football
Q:  Is it OK if my child has never player football before?
A:  The Lake County Stallions Fall flag football is great place for kids to have FUN while learning basic football skills

Q:  When does registration close?
A:  Wednesday, July 31st

  • Mouth Guards - No player will be allowed to play without a mouth guard!
  • Water Bottle - Bring water to all practices and games.
  • Attire - Please wear shorts and a t-shirt. 
  • Shoes - Gym shoes or cleats are fine.  The games are played on grass and turf.
